Lockheed F-117A Nighthawk United States - US Air Force (USAF)
In addition to the presence and the various assets of the United States, the display was very varied, innovative and well articulated throughout the event. Large presence of the Indian Air Force with the Sukhoi Su-30MKI belonging to the 30 Sqn, Lohegaon Air Base, Pune, Maharashta State together with an Ilyushin IL-78MKI. A good number of helicopters are present in the flight program, from the Belgian Sea King, to the English Apache AH1 with a display full of pyrotechnic effects, to the English Chinook HC4. Very nice the exhibition of the Bell Boeing CV-22B Osprey of the USAF, and the passages of the Airbus A400M "Atlas of the C-130J Hercules. and the performance of the Italian C-27J Spartan is extraordinary. Light trainers such as the Saab 105OE (Austria), the Pilatus PC-9M (Slovenia), the T-346° (Italy), and L-159 ALCA (Czechia) could not be missing. Great importance as every year has been given to historic aircraft, those airs that marked an era, undisputed protagonists in the past of heroic acts during the various conflicts. Aircraft such as the P-51 Mustang, the B-17 Flying Fortress, the Lancaster and other historic fighters, have still demonstrated their great capabilities by giving everyone present a pinch of nostalgia. In conclusion, the Royal International Air Tattoo 2017 shone as a "historic" edition, capable of blending innovation, technology and historical memory in a program designed to amaze and make you think. An unmissable event for any aviation enthusiast.
