He ceremony for the celebrations of the 75th anniversary of the glorious Department took place at the Gioia del Colle Military Airport of the 36th Wing. The beautiful square in front of the Commad building is the setting for the ceremony. Positioned in front of the stage as a gate guardian to witness the glorious past of the flock, the beautiful F-104S in its classic camouflaged livery. Before the greetings of Colonnelllo Pilot Vito Cracas Commander in charge of the 36th Wing, the flyover of three Eurofighter and the deposition of a laurel wreath to not forget the fallen of the glorious department.
Eurofighter F 2000A Typhoon Italy-Air Force
Event that involved all the former members of the legendary department was attended by the Chief of General Staff of Squadra Aerea Pasquale Preziosa commander of the 36th from 1994 to 1996. After the usual greetings from General Preziosa and thank you to all the staff present for the great work done, the delivery by the engineer Maurizio De Mitri, the “Sciabola Eurofighter” for the X Group Hunting.

Prize retired by Colonel Pilot Vito Cracas commander in charge of the 36th flock, Reason for recognition, the great work done to ensure the safety of the Italian airspace and beyond. To commemorate the great work carried out in 75 years of activity, the presentation of the book “L’invincibile Stormo” by Giovanni Palantra.
