The Frecce Tricolori come back to color the gulf of the Città del Vasto with their green, white and red fumes. The event organized for the second time with the full collaboration of the Municipality of Vasto saw the presence of about 100,000 spectators on Sunday alone. The opening of the event saw the display of the helicopter Agusta Westland. HH–139A of 15 Stormo of Cervia. After the usual passage with the Tricolor flag, the exhibition of the aircraft demonstrating the recovery of a castaway at sea. The helicopter from the 84th CSAR of Gioia del Colle after his spectacular performance has left the post at the Yakovlev Yak-9UM piloted by Paolo Gavazzi.
Yakovlev Yak-52 Vari Gyula
Enthusiasm has attracted among the large audience the performance of the Bombardier Canadair CL-415 which is part of the Italian anti-fire fleet. The performance of the Hungarian Yakovlev Yak 52 piloted by a true flight legend, Gyula Vàri, former pilot of MIG 29 for Hungary Air Force, considered to be one of the best acrobatic flight performers on the Russian aircraft, is decidedly incredible. Also included in the program of the event are the institutional arrangements.
ATR42 MP 3rd Air Force Guardia Costiera Pescara
After the flight of the ATR-42MP of the 3rd Air Force of the Coast Guard of Pescara, the exhibition with recovery at sea of the AB-212 helicopter of the State Police. The latter then engaged for the control of traffic outflow. At 6.00 pm the entry into the event of the Frecce Tricolori. 20 minutes of pure show with the longest Tricolor in the world to close the event.
