The Glenn L. Martin museum was founded in 1990. Divided into two distinct areas, the first one outside the airport preserves a multiplicity of objects. With over 200,000 negatives, articles, scale models of poster aircraft and various artifacts concerning the world of flying, the small museum run almost entirely by volunteers is an example of great work and passion for visitors. The second exhibition area that can be visited only with a museum guide, is located inside the airport grounds on that track area called Strawberry Point Flight Line and contains a small number of aircraft. Some of the aircraft born from the brilliant mind of Glenn L. Martin are preserved, founder of the homonymous company now better known as Lockheed Martin.

The museum is divided into two distinct areas. the first inside the parking of the Civil Airport Martin, the second inside the airport. Access to the park is allowed only after booking the tour and accompanied by a volunteer. The planes on display are not very much about 16, but certainly very beautiful. Some need restoration, others have found their former glory thanks to the work of volunteers. A beautiful museum with a rich history managed in a sublime way by enthusiasts and volunteers.
