During the visit to Aviano at the 510th it was possible to photograph the airplanes in transit. On all the airplanes the new logos of the Air Force Giordana are visible. All F-16s are configured in two places (F-16BM) and after a stop in the nearby Souda Bay base in Crete they will arrive in their new home near Amman.
With an agreement signed in 2007 between Jordan, Belgium and the Netherlands 22 General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon models A and B were sold under the Peace Falcon III and IV programs to the Air Force Giordana. All aircraft updated with the MLU (Mid Life Update Block 20) package will allow Jordan a new air defense capability.
