INGHILTERRA
14th&15Th July 2018
For all lovers of historical aircraft the Flight Legend can without a doubt be considered the best Air Show of the old continent. To most people it may seem difficult to accept to attend an event of only piston aircraft, but if you’ve never been there you can not understand the atmosphere and the sensations that this magnificent place is able to convey to the visitor. Here you do not come to witness the flight of airplanes only, but to breathe a special air, an atmosphere created by people in historical clothing, an alternation of music and songs from an era that at most seems so far away. Here are told the stories of those men who gave their lives for a world of peace, here they honor the “HEROS”, their deeds their great courage, their passion, …. their death.
With a flight line of over 50 aircraft the Flight Legend wanted to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the RAF on this occasion, and did it as usual … in an exceptional way. Without a moment’s respite, the magnificent planes arranged in front of the numerous, have filled the magnificent blue sky with the unmistakable sound generated by their monstrous piston engines.
