The Sanicole Airshow takes place at the Sanicole Airfield, located in Hechtel-Eksel, in the province of Limburg, Belgium. This airport, also known as Leopoldsburg/Beverlo Airfield, is operated by the Aeroclub Sanicole and hosts this prestigious aviation event annually.
One of the most eagerly awaited events by all aviation enthusiasts returns after a year of stop due to the pandemic.
Divided as per tradition into two days: Saturday 13 September the "Sunset Airshow" and Sunday 14 September the "Sanicole Airshow", the event captured the attention of over 30000 visitors.
The weather was not the best with two days of adverse conditions characterized by rain and fog. Despite the weather, the enthusiasm of the public for the return of this internationally renowned air show was exceptional.

A program always full of performances. Above all, the exhibition of the F-16AM "Dark Falcon", piloted by Stefan "Vador" Darte who demonstrated the great aerobatic capabilities of his aircraft with spectacular maneuvers.
The exhibition of the Swiss F/A-18 Hornet and the Patrouille Suisse with the F-5 Tigher II was welcomed with great enthusiasm, impressing with their precise formations.

Despite logistical and weather challenges, the event delivered an unforgettable spectacle, reaffirming its place as one of Europe's most important airshows.
