One of the biggest events ever in Europe was held on August 3rd at the Kecskemet air base in Hungary. Located at Kecskemet in the county of Bács-Kiskun, the base is the home of MH 59. ‘Szentgyörgyi Deszö’ Harcászati Repülö Bázis Wing. MH 59 three squadrons are part of the MH. The 1. Vadászrepülö Század equipped with the brand new Grippen Jas 39C/D known as the “Puma” the 3. Szallitó Repülö Század equipped on Antonov An-26 “Tevè” and the 4. Kiképzö Repülö Század on Yak 52. The withdrawal of the Mig 29 from the flight line in December 2011 led to the closure of the 2. Vadászrepülö Század “Dongo”.
An incredible event with a huge number of airplanes in flight and on land. Like all the events of Eastern Europe, the event has allowed all the fans to watch the evolutions of aircraft that rarely fly in old Europe. Aircraft belonging to the family of Mikoyan-Gurevich and Sukhoi.

The massive presence of hunting was well balanced by a large share of acrobatic patrols. The performance of the two Sukhoi Su-22M-4 by the Polish Air Force is always spectacular. A breathtaking exhibition presented to the Hungarian public of Alenia C-27J Spartan belonging to the 311rd RSV Group of the Italian Air Force.

To give the right mix between present and past in the program, the performance of anAntonov An-2 and a wonderful lMiG-15UTI Polskie in its unique aluminum livery. Icon of the cold war and present in flight, a Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21UM Lancer B of the Escadrila 711 Aviatie Lupta in force to the Romanian Air Force one of the last countries to use the hunting of Russian production.
