Located in the heart of central Anatolia in Turkey, the Konya air base is one of the most important and strategic in the country, both for the Turkish Air Force (Türk Hava Kuvvetleri) and in NATO. It is considered by participants to be a very similar exercise to the " Red Flag " with large-scale air-air training missions. The exercise took place from 8 to 19 June 2015, for a total of about two weeks. To give an idea of the importance of the exercise, there were about 104 aircraft present with a number of about 1022 sorties and which involved over 1300 people.

The USA was present at the Konya base with 12 × F-15C/D of the 493rd Fighter Squadron belonging to the British base (RAF Lakenheath), 8 × Typhoon FGR.4, XI Squadron United Kingdom (RAF), 6 × EF-18M of the 15th Wing (Zaragoza) Spanish Air and Space Force, 6 × F-16 A/B MLU of the 9 Sqn, 38 Wing (Mushaf) Pakistan Air Force. The in-flight refueling missions were provided by an Airbus A310 MRTT of the German Air Force. The control of the airspace was managed by 2 × E-3A AWACS based at the Geilenkirchen base.

General Dynamics F-16AM Fighting Falcon Pakistan - Air Force
Numerous squadrons of the Turkish air forces with the General Dynamics F-16 C/D Fighting Falcon with the F-4E-2020 of the 111 and 171 Filo units. In support of the exercise the Boeing KC-135R of the 10ncu Ana Jet Üs Komutanlığı 101 Filo, the CASA-IPTN CN-235M-100 for tactical transport, a Boeing EW-7T "Wiseman" / Peace Eagle (AEW&C, Filo 131). Eurocopter AS-532 Cougar transport and support helicopters and the Sikorsky S-70A Blackhawk and TAI T-129A ATAK of the Turkish Army were present.
